Lona E. Slothouber
76, of St. Petersburg passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 with her loving family at her side. She is survived by her two loving daughters: Ramona Samanipour and Teresa Dressel; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, November 21 from 5 P.M. until service time at 6 P.M.
"He Only Takes The Best"
God saw she was getting tired
and the cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around her
and whispered, "Come with Me".
With tear-filled eyes we watched her
suffer and fade away.
Although we loved her dearly,
we could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard-working hands put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
