Lois E. Bowman, 80, died on May 17, 2021 at her residence in Altamonte Springs, FL. She was born on May 6, 1941 in Washington D.C., the daughter of Walter Borum and Lois Sellers.

On December 29, 1960 Lois married the love of her life Clarence Bowman in Washington D.C. Lois and Clarence were married for 60 years. She was a strong Catholic who attended St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church since 1976.

She was a huge fan of the Washington Redskins, and on any given Sunday you could hear her a mile away yelling at the TV.

She devoted most of her time to taking care of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. During the kids school years the house was always filled with friends. There was never a dull moment, whether it was a food fight she started, baking and slinging frosting, to starting spit ball fights at restaurants and being given a broom, dustpan and vacuum to clean up her mess. She always brought the kid out in us all.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Louie R. Borum.

Surviving are her husband Clarence Bowman, daughters Deanna (Timothy) Allen, Teresa (Woodrow) Stanaland, Susan (Alan) Aden; her sons Clarence Jr. (Lisa) Bowman and Louie Bowman; siblings Bernie Borum, Bill Borum, James Phillips and Francine Searl; 9 Grandchildren: Lee (Cori) Bowman, Megan (Anthony) Allen, Cody (Sarah) Stanaland, Christina (Derrick) Grayson, Colton (Shellie) Aden, Amber (Arielle) Bowman, Cory Stanaland, Timothy Allen, Samantha (Leroy) Bowman; and ten great grandchildren, along with and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, June 11, 2021 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 861 Maitland Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701.
