Obituary

Lisa Cednick, 57, passed away on February 5, 2020 surrounded by her family, after a courageous 16-month battle with glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer. She was born in Dothan, AL on April 14, 1962 to Billy M. and Dorothy C. Kennedy. She graduated from Northview High School in 1980 and continued her education at Wallace Community College in Dothan, AL. She then went onto Florida State University, in Tallahassee, FL where she met David Cednick, her husband of 30 years.

She married David in May of 1990 on the 35th wedding anniversary of her parents and together they raised two beautiful daughters, Rachel and Taylor.

Lisa was a loving wife and mother who dedicated her life to their happiness. She was a beautiful and selfless woman who was devoted to her husband and daughters and always put everyone before herself.

Lisa started her career working at the State Capital in Tallahassee, FL while attending Florida State University. She then moved to Central Florida and held various positions in the Commercial Property Leasing industry. She later joined Synergy Sales Associates Inc. in Maitland, FL for 19 years in the Wholesale Housewares Industry where she traveled to trade shows throughout the year to New York, Atlanta, and Chicago. She remained with Synergy up until the time of her diagnosis.

Lisa is survived by her beloved husband David and daughters Rachel and Taylor of Lake Mary, Fl.; mother Dorothy Kennedy, sister and brother-in-law Kathryne and Michael Janeiro; mother-in law Mary Cednick; sisters-brothers-in-law Laura and Frank Bonniville, Linda and David Bennett; nieces and nephews Ross and Lindsey Janeiro, Jordan Janeiro, Roman Janeiro, Nikki Bonniville and Max Bonniville; great niece and nephew Emmalyn and Joshua Janeiro.

The world is less without Lisa. When a person like her enters into this world, we bask in the light of love and peace that she brings with her. In her passing, we mourn the loss of her light; the loss of something greater than ourselves. Although we are less without her, we are more from her being a part of our lives.
