Lindsy MaRee Kelly, born on February 7, 1981, in Lake Charles, LA, passed away suddenly on May 26, 2023. She was a beloved daughter to her mother, Sandy Sharpe, and stepfather Ed, as well as her father, Bob Kelly, and stepmother Helen. Lindsy is also survived by her four sisters: Jennifer Altimore, Ashley Gulick (Russ), Courtney Blackman, and Bethany Baird (Jay). She adored her two nieces and four nephews.
Lindsy will always be remembered for her infectious smile and vibrant personality. She had a passion for music, displaying her talent as a pianist and percussionist. In addition, she excelled as a swimmer, and her love for the beach and ocean was unparalleled.
Lindsy's spiritual journey began at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Longwood, Florida, where she was raised and confirmed. She completed her education at Lake Brantley High School and later obtained her radiology tech degree from Keiser University.
The loss of Lindsy has left a deep void in the hearts of her countless friends and cherished family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of her life will take place at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, located at 2140 SR 434, Longwood, FL, on Saturday, June 24 at 1 PM. All who wish to pay their respects are welcome to attend.
A graveside service in Lindsy's memory will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Lindsborg, Kansas on Saturday, July 1 at 10 am.
To honor Lindsy's life and the memories she shared with her friends in Cocoa, Cape Canaveral, and South Florida, a special celebration will be held at Paradise Beach on Sunday, July 9 at 10 am.
