Linda Ann Wagner of Lake Mary, FL died peacefully on March 24, 2018 in Orlando, FL at the age of 70.
Linda is survived by siblings Jim Wagner, Steve Wagner, Barbara (Greg) Dini, Charlie (Piera) Graven, Bill (Pat) Graven. She is preceded in death by Mary and Robert Wagner, her parents her sister, Eileen Wagner and step mother June Wagner.
Linda stepped in to help raise her nieces; Kelly (Bill) Shilson, Kathryn (David) Maluda and Maile Keeney after their mother, Eileen passed away. Nephews Jason (Jennifer) Wagner, Gregory (Courtney) Dini, Robert Dini, Alex & Patrick Wagner, Nieces; Kristina Wagner, Audrey & Emily Shilson, Lana Maluda along with other great nieces and nephews
Linda was born on August 8, 1947 in Mount Vernon, NY to Mary and Robert Wagner. She went to high school in New Rochelle, NY and studied business at Barry University. She decided to move to the Orlando Florida area in 1981 to join her sister Barbara. She worked at AT&T in accounting until retirement. Once retired she did a host of volunteer work that included being a founding member of Annunciation Catholic Church's St. Rita's Circle, 2nd Vice President (Council of Catholic Women) and served as a Supervisory Member of Community Trust Federal Credit Union along with forming a Christmas in July program, which benefitted the HOPE Community Center and their annual Christmas Toy Sale. Linda actively participated in the Bags of Hope program for the homeless, read to underprivileged children at the Apopka Learning Center and honored the firefighters on each and every anniversary of 911 by bringing baked goods to various fire stations to thank them for their service.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial service at DeGusipe Funeral Home 9001 N. Orlando, Ave. Maitland, FL Tuesday, March 27th from 5-7pm. A Funeral Mass is scheduled at 1:15pm, on Wednesday March 28th at Annunciation Catholic Church in 1020 Montgomery Rd. Altamonte Springs, FL, with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Linda Wagner's life. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Bags of Hope Central Florida
