Lillie Fay Klafter died March 3, 2016. She moved to Florida in 1972 and worked for AT&T Telephone Corp. as a Long Distance Switchboard Operator. She was a life time member of the League to aid handicapped children. She was the president of St. Petersburg Suncoast New Neighbors Club, collecting money for all charter organizations since residing in Florida.
She was a member of Temple Beth-El.
Survived by three children: sons Mark and Allen Klafter, daughter Judy Miller, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery with her late husband, Leonard.
