Today, the angels are rejoicing. Our beloved Lillian Allen gracefully answered heaven's call on March 24, 2016.

Lillian Kelley was born November 19, 1923, and married Spencer Allen February 22, 1952. Today, her husband, Spencer, three children, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren gather to remember and celebrate the gift of her love.

​There is much that we remember: camping trips, dogs that required constant care, home cooked meals, oysters in the Thanksgiving stuffing, and pithy quips, one of her favorite being, "Talk is cheap, but it takes money to buy rum!" She was kind, compassionate and graciously welcoming to all who entered her home.

​In her final peaceful moments, she was surrounded by her family and the size of the clan was not lost on her husband who remarked, "All this family and it started with just the two of us!"

Lillian is survived by her husband, Spencer, daughters, Sandra and Suzanne, son, Stanley, son-in law, Rick Miller, and daughter-in-law, Brenda Allen, grandchildren, Greg, Kriisten, Kelly, Eric, Justin, Rebecca, Janine, Jennifer and Michelle, and great-grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Ashton, Grace, Ethan, and Eric Jr.
