An amiable, loving and caring Lilavatiben K Patel, originally from Ahmedabad and resident of Sanford, FL passed away peacefully in her sleep at her residence on Thursday, February 13th 2014 in the morning.
She will be missed by her son Dipesh and Shivani Patel, Sanford Florida and son-in-laws and daughters Vijay and Binita Patel, Kaushik and Sangita Patel of California. She will be most missed by all her grandchildren Prutha, Satya, Rudra, Achyut, Harit and Rohin.
Lilavatiben K Patel was born on February, 1st 1937. She was a scholar and a social worker who dedicated her life in India for the upliftment of rural and disadvantaged women. Academically she was profound with a PhD in Psychology from Gujarat University, 1971. She was the Principal of AG teachers College, Ahmedabad.
