Lila Mae Vanderhoof-Hardy (Smith) died peacefully at home on October 27, 2019 in Orlando, Florida at the age of 81.

Lila was born on January 26, 1938 in Acup, West Virginia to Clyde and Myrtle Smith. Lila is survived by her husband Henry "Hank" Hardy; daughter Kim (Ron) Hunsinger; step daughter Katie Kauffman; two granddaughters, Shannon (Isaiah) Likens and Heather Hunsinger; and three great grandchildren, Ashton, Riley and Emily. She is preceded in death by her father Clyde Smith and mother Myrtle Thomas of West Virginia.

Lila valued three things most in life which are Faith, Family and Love. She was a faithful member of Rosemont Baptist Church for a number of years until she moved to Orlando and because a member of the Orlando Lutheran Towers. Lila always had an extra place at the dinner table for guests and made everyone feel welcomed like family. She was a hair stylist for over 30 years. Lila enjoyed playing cards with her husband and simply spending time with family.
