Lewis John Childers, 77 of Deltona, Florida passed away June 16, 2018. Mr Childers was born July 22, 1940 in Hartselle, Alabama.

He is predeceased by his parents Earline and W.L. McDonald, Brady and Nell Childers. Also, brothers Olen, Greg, Steve, Keith, Anthony, and sister Suzanne.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary, son Wesley Childers (Kelly), daughter Kim Johnson (Tim), five grandchildren, Chrissy Beaver, Ryan Childers, Westley Scott, Maria Murray and Timmy Johnson. Three great-grand children, Mason, Brianna and Savannah. Siblings Betty Eastham, Dorothy Childers, Linda Sapp, and Larry Mcdonald plus many loving nieces and nephews.

Mr. Childers owned and operated Auto Glass and Seat Cover Co for 41 years in Sanford, Florida. After retirement his favorite hobbies were watching Miami Dolphin and Alabama Crimson Tide football games as well as his daily meetings with the breakfast club at 4B's in Debary. He love socializing, spending time with friends and watching old Westerns on TV.

He mostly loved when his family gathered around for festivities and dinners. They were his pride and joy. He looked forward to visits from his kids and grandchildren any time of the day. He was a loving father and grandfather to all and he will be loved and missed forever.

Services will be held June 22, 2018 at our Sanford Chapel. A visitation will be held from 1pm to 2pm, followed by a Celebration of Life from 2pm to 3pm, concluded with a Reception from 2pm to 5pm.
