Beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Leslie Bower of Winter Park, FL, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 of complications due to congestive heart failure at the age of 80. Leslie is survived by her sister Barbara Kay Prevo and her daughters Ruth Bartelson, Barbara Bennett, Catherine Grimberg, Stephanie Massingill, Beverly Hages and son, Harold (Brad) Bower. She was also blessed with 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Leslie was born in Michigan but spent most of her life in Florida. She retired many years ago after working at Cape Canaveral and then with several physicians in the Central Florida area. She lived with her daughter Stephanie. She enjoyed knitting and watching older war movies. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.

We will remember all she gave us and she will be at the heart of our life's story forever.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
