Leroy D. Partington 80 of St. Petersburg passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Born in Marlboro, New York, he moved here in 1959. He was a Korean War Navy Veteran and a firefighter/paramedic for the city of St. Petersburg for 25 years. Mr. Partington was preceded in death by his son, Leroy Partington, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife Elaine; he is the loving father of Jeffery A. and Jay K. Partington; grandfather of six, great grandfather of 9; brother of Nathalie w. Gruner. Mr. Partington requested no services. Interment will be later in New York.
