Leatrice (Letty) Scherr passed away peacefully on October 4, 2021 in Orlando, Florida at the age of 89.

Letty is survived by her children Deborah (Lola), Sandra, Michael (Sheryl) and David (Sarah), and is preceded in death by her son David. Letty is also survived by her brother Lawrence (Betty). Letty is also survived by her four grandchildren Corey, Derik, Ryley and Daniel. She is also survived by her six great grandchildren, Jordan, Alyssa, Zoey, Amyrah, Makenzie and Davey.

Letty attended the University Of Florida (UF) where she met and married her husband Danny in 1953. Letty loved sports and was a proud Gator fan. Her husband Danny was a truly skilled carpenter and owned his own Cabinetry business. The love and kindness she spread throughout the entire family is priceless and she will be remembered for always being there for family and friends, providing heart-felt love and continual support.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital in the name of Leatrice Scherr. This was Letty's favorite charity as it focused on the wellness and healing of children.

Funeral services will be held on site at Ohev Shalom Cemetery, 6034 Old Winter Garden Road, Orlando, Florida 32835, at 1 p.m., Friday, October 8, 2021.
