Layla DeGusipe May 5, 2017 – October 30, 2025

Layla DeGusipe, age 8, of Longwood, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in Casselberry, Florida. She was born on May 5, 2017, in Iquitos, Peru, and was lovingly adopted by the DeGusipe family.

In July 2017, she joined her new family in Central Florida, where she spent the remainder of her life surrounded by love and care. Layla was a joyful and affectionate soul who brought happiness to everyone she met. She loved swimming, going for rides in the family truck, and spending time with those she loved most. Her gentle spirit, playful heart, and unconditional love will forever be cherished by all who were blessed to know her.

Layla was also a beloved member of the DeGusipe Funeral Home staff, serving faithfully as a support dog. Her comforting presence brought peace and warmth to families during their most difficult times, and she will be remembered for the love and calm she shared with all who crossed her path.

She is survived by her devoted parents, Julissa and Todd DeGusipe; her brother, Salvatore; and her sister, Giuliana.

Layla will be deeply missed by her family, her extended funeral home family, and all whose lives she touched. Her memory will live on eternally in the hearts of those who love her.
