Martiny, Lawrence R., passed away September 16, 2015. Larry was born in Allegany, New York to the late Lawrence W. and Frances Rehler Martiny. Larry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Antoinette "Toni" Siclari Martiny; their son, Lawrence J. Martiny and his wife Lynne Martiny of Brandon, Florida; grandson, Brandon L. Martiny of Tampa, Florida; sisters, Mary Lou Neill of Jackson, New Jersey, Katherine (James) Goodwin of Granite Bay California, Elizabeth Martiny of Johannesburg, South Africa; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Conroy. Larry graduated from Allegany High School, and held a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was employed as a Technical Representative at Martin Marietta for 39 years. Larry was a lifelong member of the K of C and volunteered with the St. Mary Magdalen Retired Parishioners after his retirement. He loved playing golf with the Bloom Group and was an avid Gator Fan. Friends may call from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 6:00 PM-8:00 PM on Monday, September 21, 2015, at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland. A Mass in Celebration of Larry's life will be held Tuesday, 1:00 PM, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church with Father Charles Mitchell as Celebrant. Burial will be Private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Father Ed's Vocational Fund, the K of C In Care of St. Mary Magdalen Church.
