Lawrence Nelson Brownlee, age 88, passed away on September 10th, 2021, in Clermont, Florida.

Mr. Brownlee is survived by his son, Maurice Eugene (Tammy Lee) Brownlee; his stepchildren, Dwayne (Sharene) Dickson and Diana Dickson; and his grandchildren Marissa Ann (Michael Robert) Brown, Misten Elaine (Joe) Sommerville, Christina Lee Daniel, Aliyah Sabrina Dickson, and Sebastian Ali Dickson; and great-grandchildren Colt Lee Daniel, Gage Louis Daniel, Destiny Faith Grimes, Hannah Lynn Adams and Michael Calvin Brown, Jr.

He is preceded in death by his father George C. Brownlee, his mother Doris Aitchison and his beloved spouse, Bonnie Angel Brownlee.

Mr. Brownlee was born on January 23rd, 1933 in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. He moved to California in 1963 working in electronics. Shortly after he began to work for Walt Disneyland in 1966 and found his home in Central Florida in 1971 with his young family and accepted a position as an Engineering Manager at Walt Disney World, a job he loved and was very proud of.

Mr. Brownlee was a great family man and a loving father. He could be seen anywhere traveling in his 32 foot camper all over North America, even venturing into Alaska!

Mr. Brownlee was a social, active man who will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him. He enjoyed traveling, genealogy, and being with his family and friends. His family and friends will always remember him as a vivacious, generous person. Mr. Brownlee was the sort of man who would give you the shirt off his back and never wish to be repaid except with a smile.
