Obituary

Lawrence Rudolph Baker passed away on November 21, 2023 in Orlando, Florida. He was born to Virginia and Rudolph Baker on January 7, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio. Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores; they were married for 59 beautiful years. Together they would go on to have 3 sons, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. He lived in Cleveland, Ohio the vast majority of his life and spent the last three years enjoying the warm weather and sunny skies in Orlando, Florida. He is survived by his sons, Larry, Greg and Ken Baker; daughter-in-law, Bethann Baker; grandchildren, Brandon, Meghan, Amanda, Brian, Chris and Matthew; and great-grandson, Brooks. Larry served in the US army from 1955-1958. Larry enjoyed fishing, baking and spending time with family, who all lived close by. Everyone looked forward to his famous pizzelles, press cookies and sweet bread during the holidays. His grandchildren were known to put in their dessert requests early so they had some to take home as well! He was a devoted Catholic who enjoyed attending weekly Mass and church festivals. Larry will be greatly missed by many, especially his sense of humor, that kept everyone laughing and joyous. In lieu of flowers, the family of Larry Baker requests donations be made in Larry's memory to Annunciation Catholic Church
