Laurie was born on May 18, 1959 and passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017. Laurie had a larger than life personality and loved fully, never meeting a stranger. She was a hard worker and retired in 2015 from Orlando Utilities Commission, where she worked for over 25 years. Laurie will be remembered for many things; dancing, her love of wine and wine decorations, Betty Boop and most notably her love of lipstick.
She loved spending time with her grandkids, picking them up from school and spoiling them with candy and movies. The three of them had a special way to say I Love You and loved to see who could say it the loudest.
Laurie is survived by her daughter Rachael Thornton Howe; son-in-law Ian Howe, brothers, David Burr and Lloyd Burr, Jr, sister, Janice Moore, sisters in law, Julie Burr and Gail Burr, Granddaughter Rheya Howe, Grandson Rylan Howe, many nieces, nephews and countless other friends and family
Laurie was preceded in death by her mother Marge Burr and father Lloyd Burr.
Service will be held at Real Life Church, 2565 E. Kaley Ave, Orlando FL 32806 on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 2:00pm with reception immediately following.
