Laurel M. Ash (Ordained Minister) of St. Petersburg passed away
peacefully in her sleep at home at the age of 60. She was born in
Detroit, Michigan. Locally she was co-pastor along with her
husband, Pastor York A. Ash II, of the Tree of Life Church. Laurel
is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Pastor York A. Ash
II. She was the beloved mother of Krystal Stewart and husband,
Pastor Ronnie Stewart II, Jaime Ash and husband, Steven Story
and York S. Ash III. She is also survived by her mother; Freda
Armitage; and her brothers: Victor, Michael and Alan Armitage;
sisters: Carol Martin and Mary Hunter; loving grandmother to
York A. Ash IV, Ivory Ash, Laurell Jeffrey, Alex Hamilton,
Benjamin Hamilton, Seth Yuresko, Luke Yuresko, Ronnie Stewart
III, Riley Stewart, Selah Stewart, Dallas Stewart (Dante),
Grayson Stewart (Zio) and great grandmother of Neo Jeffrey.

Shopping Center Thursday, July 28 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
Memorial service will be Friday, July 29 at the
Tree of Life Church 4862-40th Ave. No., St. Petersburg at 1 P.M.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tree of Life
Church.
