Laura Lee Richardson Barry, 65, of Windermere, FL, passed away from multiple myeloma on Sunday, July 30, 2017.
Born in Columbus, MS, she was a daughter of the late Dr. Glenn Burton Richardson, Sr. and Faye Williams Richardson. She was a U.S. Army veteran and a former flight attendant who loved traveling. Laura was a wonderful mother who dearly loved her daughter and best friend Jennifer. She was a dedicated teacher who was devoted to her students and earned her National Board Teaching Certification. Laura was a kind and thoughtful person and a source of joy and love for all who knew her.
She is survived by: her daughter, Jennifer Barry Weber and husband James of Windermere, FL, her newborn grandson, Wesley James Weber; her brothers, Glenn Richardson, Jr. and wife Kendra of Selma, AL, and David Richardson of Columbus, MS; sisters, Camilla Richardson of Columbus, MS, and Frances Kennedy and husband Bev of Laurens, SC; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved grand dogs, Coco and Muffin.
Graveside services will be held at 9:00 am, Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Orlando Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter following the graveside service.
