Larry Johnson, "Big Daddy", "Money Green" Green passed away peacefully at his home in Apopka, FL surrounded by loved ones on June 23, 2024, at the age of 69. He was a loving husband, father, papaw & friend. He loved riding his Harley on cross country trips, throwing darts with his friends and hosting gatherings at his home with lots of food and laughter; however, his family and especially his grandkids were what gave him purpose. Larry never met a stranger; to know him was to love him!

Larry is survived by his loving wife and soulmate of 31 years, Alecia and four children: Joe Green (Amber), Tom Green, Katie Chism, Jessica "Jessie Girl" Ramos (Alberto) and honorary son Nik Hajek; 12 grandchildren: Joe "Lil Joe", Luke, Gracie, Jacob, Jayden, Brody, Kinsleigh, Kamryn, Paulina, Annabella, Sammy, Danny; brother Tom Green; and spoiled rotten Yorkie dogs, Bam Bam and Pebbles.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Green, his mother, Mary Green. Larry was born on November 25, 1954, in Clinton, KY, however he grew up in Burbank, CA where he remained until his senior year of high school when he moved back to Clinton, KY. Larry later relocated to Florida where he worked as Plant Manager for Soil Treatment Services and then later became Regional Maintenance Director for a well-established property management company in Orlando.

The family would like to thank the staff of Vitas Hospice and extend a special thank you to Nurse Betsy and Dr. Rosendo.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Ferndale Baptist Church, 15050 County Rd 561A, Ferndale, FL 34729. A public visitation will be held from 1:30-2:30; followed by a ceremony at 2:30 officiated by Dave Smith. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Larry and the amazing man he was and the fulfilling life he lived. Please feel free to wear your Harley Davidson, Miami Hurricane, or dart attire.
