Obituary

Lamont Warren was born on January 7, 1966 to the late Anita Warren and James Adams Jr. in Newark, New Jersey. He was raised by his grandmother the late Phyllis Warren whom he called mommy. He peaceful departed from this life on October 26, 2021, after a hard-fought battle with an aggressive illness at AdventHealth Hospice in Altamonte Spring, Florida.

Lamont attended Barringer High School in Newark, New Jersey. During his youth he enjoyed playing football and basketball with the community.

Lamont was employed as an exterminator for Pest Control. He was always a dedicated hard worker with good ethic skills. Lamont had a great desire to one day open up his own Pesticide business.

Lamont loved the Lord and had a passion for Christ, he often mentioned about becoming a minister. His thoughts and conversation always led back to the Word of God.

Lamont truly loved being around his family, he loved attending family functions, watching over the younger children, while he enjoyed the festivities and food. This was one of the things he really enjoyed doing! Lamont always spoke kindly to the children and would go over and beyond for any kid. He was a kindhearted man that would always help people in need, especially his family.

Lamont was preceded in death by his parents and older sister Celeste Warren-Wilcher.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: His daughter - Carolyn Milton, Granddaughter - Liani Giselle Milton, Brother – Andre James Warren, Four Sisters – Michelle T Warren, Schronda Warren (Robert Sarter) of FL, Natasha P. Warren and Keshia Warren-Bhurasingh (Sheldon Bhurasingh) of NJ. Three Step-Sisters – Lafee Adams, Kila Stacy Adams, Robin Grant and One Step-Brother – James Adams III., two cousins that were raised like siblings, Renay Warren and Timothy Warren, One Uncle Thomas Warren Jr. (Regina Warren), eleven nieces, five nephews and a host of other relatives and many friends.
