Kimberly L. Wood 40 a native of St. Petersburg died Friday, December 9, 2022 after a long illness. She is survived. Kimberly is survived by her father, Gregory D. Wood; four daughters: Gabrielle Cummings, Hailey Cummings, Lily Baran and Isabella Wood; two sisters: Valerie M. Wood and Tiffany M. Wood and her nephews , Richard D. Wood, Michael G. Wood, Matthew R. Wood and niece's Amber N. Wood, Angela C. Wood. Kimberly is an alumni of Gibbs High School and Tyrone Middle School. She loved working in child care for many years. She had a love for coloring, drawing and turtles. She was strong and fought bravely with cancer. . She loved going to her daughter's winter concerts and teaching her daughters to cook. She always looked forward to taking her daughters and nephew to see Christmas lights. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, December 16 from 11:30 am until time of service at 1:30 pm. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens.
