Obituary

Kimberly Ann Voelker died peacefully under the care of her physician's while
surrounded by her church family and closest friends on January 17, 2026, in Orlando
Florida at the age of 56. She is survived by aunts and uncles, Sherry Czapp, Jake and
Carolyn Reittenbach (Saginaw, MI), Gary and Liz Voelker (Essexville, MI) and many
cousins.

Kimberly was born February 10, 1969, in Saginaw Michigan to Michael and Peggy
(Lockhart) Voelker. She graduated from Bridgeport Community High School in 1987
and went on to earn her Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Central Michigan
University in 1992.

As a young girl, Kimberly helped her mother make and sell candies and cakes,
prompting her life-long love of baking. As she aged, she helped her father in
managing the family construction business while also helping her mom through years
of fighting brain cancer. Sadly, her parents died while she was in her twenties
attesting to her ability to encounter grief and hardship. These lessons helped her over
time build her faith and foundation in God.

Her continued love for baking drew her to Orlando, Florida where she graduated from
pastry school while also working with Chef Notter to write a confections book.
Following a variety of administrative roles with several construction companies, she
eventually found a home working environment she loved and settled into work with
McCree General Contractors and Architects, relocating in Winter Park, Florida.
Due to her moves and work, she has connected and loved many church families while
building her strong faith and supportive relationships that have carried her through a
six-year battle with cancer.

Kimberly carried many talents including crochet, baking, sewing, violin, piano,
singing, and Biblical counseling. She used her talents to love and support others
unselfishly. Her love for horses, cats, reading and learning about God is part of her
overall collective testimony of growth in a person who is a model for allowing God to
cleanse her, change her and love others through her.

Her memorial service is scheduled for January 31, 2026, 10:00am, at Grace Chapel of
Longwood at 919 Lincolnwood Lane, Longwood, FL 32750. With limited space, this
live service will also be live streamed via the internet. Pastor Mark Bigenho will
officiate the ceremony. We welcome those in attendance and watching to celebrate
Kimberly as a life well lived in Christ as a testimony to His love for us.

Due to limited spacing, please only bring children ages 16 and up if possible.
