Kevin Lee Twigg, age 64, resided at 111 Winding Ridge Road, Sanford, FL, transitioned to heaven on December 9, 2015 as a result of a long illness.

He was born in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania on April 13, 1951, son of Galen and Helen Twigg.
At 2 years of age Kevin contracted the disease of polio and was paralyzed from the neck down. Doctors did not expect him to live. The next 2 years of his life were in a Hospital for crippled children. Prayer was the victor and God spared Kevin for 62 more years as a partial paraplegic. Throughout his life there were many hospital visits, surgeries, and rehabs. Kevin never complained and always took it as just what his life was to be.

Kevin graduated from Perry High School, Massillon, Ohio in 1969 and then graduated from Case Western Reserve University. He has worked over 30 years in the field of electrical engineering at ABB Inc. Sanford, Florida. He was a Project Manager Engineer and had his office at his home due to his physical restraints. His last day of work was Thursday, November 19, 2015. Later that night he entered the Central Florida Regional Hospital, Sanford, Florida for his final hospital visit.

He continued his physical fight for 21 days to the very end on December 9, 2015.
Kevin enjoyed TV and reading. He loved football (Steelers) and Racing (Kevin Harvick – Earnhardt). Do not try to talk to him if Football, Racing, Jeopardy or Dr. Who are on. If you want a good in depth theological discussion just talk to Kevin. He loved studying the word of God and challenging others to get it right. He attended Fellowship Bible Church in Orlando, Florida where he served in their music program and as a deacon.

Kevin is survived by his sister Karen Twigg of Altamonte Springs, FL.; sister Kathy Twigg of Sanford, FL.; brother Kirk Twigg and wife Kathy Twigg of Spotsylvania, VA.; nieces, nephew, aunts, and many cousins.

Kevin never met a stranger and everyone he met loved him. He was very easy going, tried to be funny, and very smart. He loved his work, church, sports, and living.
