Kenneth R. Wesson born March 2, 1950, passed away January 2, 2016. He was 3rd generation native Floridian and graduated from Colonial High School in 1968. Enlisted in the US Navy and served from 1968 to 1972. Upon discharge from the US Navy he went to work for Walt Disney World and became a master carpenter. He worked at Disney until he retired in Oct. 2011.
Kenny's love of woodworking was not contained just at Disney, he carried on that love of woodworking at home as well. When he was not doing a wood project, he would be at "the fish camp" with his brothers, son, and or grand kids. His family life was very near and dear to his heart. At any given time he could always be found playing on the ground with the grand kids making them laugh and carry on.
He is survivied by his wife of 45 years, Frances J. Wesson. He had two children, Vince Wesson (Jennifer Wesson) and Dena Brannigan (Paul Brannigan). He had 5 grandchildren Beau, Jacob, Maranda, Cullin, and Kalin and 4 step-grandchildren Bryan, Ricky, Tyler, and Wyatt. He has 3 sibilings Doug Wesson, Dave Wesson, and Judy Stoddard (Larry Stoddard). He had numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, Jabuary 8th 2016 at DeGusipe Funeral Home, West Orange Chapel 4100 Mathew Paris Boul. Ocoee, Fl. 34761 (407) 295-2273.
