Kenneth M. Murphy 59, of Orlando, FL, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. He was born on April 18, 1957 in Riverhead, Long Island, New York to Joan Murphy and the late Francis Murphy.
He is survived by his mother Joan Murphy, daughters Jennifer and Stephanie Murphy of Winter Springs, FL and former wife (mother of Jennifer and Stephanie) Helen Murphy of Winter Springs, FL, sister Eileen Bishop and husband Mike, sister Cathy Braner and husband Doug, Nephew Tim MacDonald, Uncle (Godfather) Kenneth Kneski and wife Irene, grandchildren Nathan Leftwich, Mackenzie Murphy and Aubree Murphy, great nieces Alexis Lafata and Emma MacDonald.
Besides being the #1 Gator fan and watching Nascar, Ken's all-time favorite movie was "It's a Wonderful Life", not a Christmas went by that he missed watching it.
A celebration of Ken's life will be held on Saturday, March 25th at the Capistrano Condominium Clubhouse located at 200 Maitland Avenue, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701 at 1:30pm. If you are able to bring a covered dish the family would appreciate it. Also, feel free to BYOB.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to your favorite charity in Ken's name. If you don't have one, The American Heart Association or Kids Cancer would be wonderful options that Ken would have appreciated.
