Kenneth Myron Hosack, age 78, of Osteen, FL, died of natural causes after a long illness on March 27, 2018 in Orange City, FL. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Penny, of Osteen; his daughters, Kim (Charlie) Higgins of Sanford, FL, and Vicki (Jeff) Whitehead of Huntsville, AL; his son, Randy (Lindsey) Hosack; sister Janette Yawn; 9 grandsons; 1 great-grandson; and an extended family of nieces, nephews, and granddaughters-in-law. He is preceded in death by parents Gerald and Myra Hosack, and brothers David and Billy.
Kenneth was the owner/operator of Hosack Engineering in Osteen, a family business he'd been involved with since he was 9 years old. In his spare time, he loved fishing on the river and hunting. His family and friends will always remember him for the jokes he loved to tell, the pranks he loved to pull, and the many camping trips and cookouts (with his famous onion rings).
An 11am funeral service will follow a 10am visitation at Westview Baptist Church in Sanford, FL, on Saturday, March 31, 2018, with a committal to follow at Osteen Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Kenneth's life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kenneth's honor to the Children's Choir Ministry at Westview Baptist Church.
