Kenneth Harold Hoyle, age 65, died June 25, 2019 at AdventHealth Hospital in Altamonte Springs, FL after a long battle with Lung Disease.
Ken is survived by a brother, Daniel Hoyle, Dan's wife Debbie Hoyle, both of Casselberry, FL, and two Nephews, Donald Hoyle, of Nashville, TN and Dillon Hoyle, of Winter Park, FL. He was predeceased by a brother, Timothy Hoyle, of West Memphis, AR.
Ken was born in Natchez, MS to James and Frances Hoyle. He grew up in Huntsville, AL with his two brothers Dan and Tim. As he grew up, Ken developed a love for Art and Cinematography. He graduated from Lee High School in 1972, studied Photography, Cinematography and Art at Calhoun CC, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Ken received a degree in Cinematography.
Ken is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served three distinguished years as a Radarman in the US Navy on the USS Downes (DE-1070).
Prior to his service in the Navy, Ken used his artistic talent as a cartologist making maps from aerial photographs. After serving in the Navy, he began his career in story telling working in the News business as a film camera operator in Huntsville, AL. In Little Rock, AR, he became the personal videographer for the host of "Traveling Arkansas". During this time Ken was the court room artist for many trials in Little Rock, AR. He moved to the Orlando area in 1986 where he began his long tenure as a videographer at Sea World. After a brief retirement, he went to work as a videographer at Discovery Cove for eight years. Ken used his talents in film making and video as a volunteer at Grace Church for over a decade. In recent years, Ken became an avid drone pilot making aerial videos.
Ken was a master story teller. All of his friends and family enjoyed a great story told by Ken. He had many adventures in life, and recorded most of them on film or video.
