Keith Montor, 63 of St. Petersburg passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 26, 2017 with his loving family at his side. He will always be remembered for his generosity and kindness. Born in Jamaica, Long Island,New York. He was a graduate of Severna Park High School Class of 1972 and attended Towson College. He has lived in South Carolina, California and Florida managing veterinary hospitals. Most recently Keith is co/owner of the 4th Street Pet Hospital along with his wife Dr. Stephanie G. Montor. He was responsible for all business, customer service and staffing matters. He also previously owned a financial planning and investment firm. Keith also managed a staff of 40 at the Emergency Care Center of Tampa Bay Veterinary Specialist in Largo. In his free time he enjoyed constructing boats, furniture making, playing music and traveling. Keith was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Karel Montor. In addition to his loving wife of 31 years, Dr. Stephanie G. Montor, Keith is also survived by his mother: Joan Weingartner; three sisters: Jodi Altendorf, Lee Derr and Tammy Ramos; brother: Michael Weingartner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 2 P.M. with a service to be conducted at 2:30 P.M. with a reception to follow until 4 P.M.
