CRYNOCK, KATHLEEN H., 68, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013. She was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, August 6, 1945, to Arthur and Frances Holmes. She lived in the Orlando area most of her adult life and was an executive with Thomas Ruff Office Furniture Company for many years. She married John Crynock on February 22, 1991, at Lee's Lakeside overlooking pristine, beautiful Lake Eola and that began 22 years of a fun, devoted life together as they traveled and enjoyed many exciting, interesting activities. They, too, were the best parents ever to their precious kitties, Hope Rose, Gracie Faith, and Wolfie. Kathleen had a passion for serving her community and in 1979 she joined the local Frontier Civitan Club, a part of the Civitan International service organization and was an active participant through the years. The club was and continues to be very active with local organizations such as Special Olympics, Boys & Girls Club, Coalition for the Homeless, Down Syndrome organization, and many more. The club sponsors two Junior Civitan Clubs and Kathleen was always involved in their activities and projects. She served as an officer in the organization at the local, district and international levels. She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Frances Holmes, and her brother, Daniel. She is survived by devoted husband, John, sister-in-law Maxine Holmes, nephews Daniel Holmes (Sharon), David Holmes (Theresa), Dennis Holmes (Joni) all of Orlando and Shannon (Jenny) Sypolt of Huntersville, NC. Others include grand nephews and nieces, Dylan, Amber, Robbie, Bryan and Alexis Holmes; also, Owen and Carley Sypolt. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2 pm at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 N. Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL 32751. In honor of Kathleen a gift of remembrance may be made to the to Civitan International Research Center .
