Kathleen (Mimi) Ann Gehr's fierce passion for life, family and friends will be remembered with love long after her passing.

Mimi passed away at the age of 65 on February 18, 2022 after a courageous seven month battle. She was surrounded by loved ones who will aspire to honor her memory by living their lives to the fullest. Her feisty spirit, sharp wit, and generous heart will be deeply missed.

Kathleen wore many hats throughout her lifetime. She was a mom to many, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother, missionary, mentor, director and friend. Kathleen dedicated 28 years to the City of Lake Mary where she was the assistant director to parks and recreation. She loved planning, decorating and producing Holiday in the Park and any other event such as weddings and showers. Plants, gardening, nature and horticulture are a few of her other passions. Family was everything to her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jim, her three children Jimmy, Jennifer, Allan, Allan's wife Ashley, Jimmy's husband, Kit and Jennifer's life partner, Jason. Mimi has two wonderful grandchildren, Garner and Danny. Kathleen is also survived by her sister, Jane D'amico, her husband Terry Haake and Jane's daughter Tina D'amico.
