Katherine Patricia Slack, 81 of Winter Springs, Florida passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Katherine (Pat) was born December 22, 1936 in Hollywood, California to John M. Roberts and Katherine Patricia Alyward. The child of a pilot and stewardess/RN, Pat, lived in several states throughout her childhood including, LaGrange, IL, Marquette, MI, Tucson, AZ and Northern California. Upon graduation from nursing school she traveled to Miami, FL and met her future husband, Steve. They married and eventually moved to Orlando in 1964.

Throughout her career she worked as a Registered Nurse, an administrative assistant and eventually for Winn-Dixie and Publix until her retirement in 2005. She was a kind and gentle soul. She supported all of her children and enjoyed spending time with grandchildren. She had a true love of reading and would spend her days in a good book.

Pat is survived by her brothers, John M. (Jay) Roberts and Dana F. Roberts, her four children, Kathy Walters (Mel), Darin Slack (Lesli), Sean Slack and Kristy Pizzarello (Joe). And grandchildren, Matt, Micheal (Jennifer), Mark, Meaghan, Meredith, Avery, Hayden, Peyton, Concetta, Kate, Sarah and Peter.
