Obituary

Kathie was the beloved best friend and loving partner to her husband Marty. She showed him how to live life to the fullest and enjoy all the moments they shared. They found each other 10 years ago and have been happily married for 7 years.

She was an adored mother to Kristin and Lauren who learned from her the power of a smile and positive thinking. She constantly beamed with pride for her two girls and they will always remember her unwavering love, commitment and support. She fulfilled every ounce of being a true doting mother and cherished best friend to them. They will continue to tell her how they love her more!

Kathie was the beloved daughter of Joan Budnick and Paul Budnick (deceased). Sister to Debby Budnick, Lynn Budnick, Karen "Budnick" Conrad, Mark (Debbie) Budnick, Philip Budnick (Robert Cammiso) and Alyson (Tim) Welsh.

Aunt to seven nieces and nephews. Valued friend to many.

She was a grandmother-to-be to Aubrey Katherine who will continue the tradition of happiness and enthusiasm as the family's new ball of sunshine.

Kathie was overly zealous in her love of her beloved dog Prince.

She attended Lumen Cordium H.S. in Bedford, Ohio where she played basketball and was the team's best free throw shooter. Later she became her neighborhoods "HORSE" playing champion.

She was a Bass master extraordinaire and always caught the largest fish at any outing! Or told us that she had! In years past she was employed by Bass Finder Magazine and thoroughly enjoyed what she did. She could always be found in her backyard at Lake Lovely casting in a fishing line. She proudly could say she caught the lakes largest Bass as her brother and father taught her well.
Kathie was also a master collector of Anna Lee figures, culminating her collection with her tremendous find in Hermie the 5-foot-tall Christmas elf. Her twin sister and mother will forever be jealous.

In days gone by she and her brothers would dance the night away at discos.

Kathie could also be found wherever a roulette table was. She was an avid player and 20 was her lucky number. She entranced everyone at the table and made friends everywhere she went. Also remember… never remove a winning bet!

Now, Kathie is fishing and playing Black Jack with her Dad and Grandpa Ed. She will forever be with her family in spirit and will continue to shed her light on them in future days to pass.
