Kanak Lata Sharma , age 76, unexpectedly passed away on November 4th, 2023. She was born in Gwalior, India. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Kartar Sharma, her children Kapil & Kanchan Sharma, Meenakashi Kapil, and Vishal & Puja Sharma. She is also survived by 6 grandsons, Kavi & Keshav Sharma, Escher & Vivan Sharma, and Sohul & Johl Kapil.

Kanak shared her love and joy in many ways including cooking, singing, and laughing with others. She had a great enthusiasm, playful competitiveness, and a sense of humor that inspired all who knew her. She was the bridge between members of a large family in India and America, helping the Sharma family maintain strong bonds. In recent years, she walked miles throughout her entire neighborhood and forged new friendships through her genuine, caring, and social nature. She will be greatly missed, and her legacy will live on through the hearts of those she loved and cherished.

Services will be held at the DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory, 9001 N Orlando Ave, Maitland, FL 32751, on Thursday November 9th at 1:00 PM.
