Kam "Michael" M. Cheng, 76, of Windermere, FL passed from this world into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 8, 2018. He was born on November 13, 1941 in Fuzhou, China to 鄭金仗 (father) and 馬劍英 (mother). He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years; Pek "Pauline" C. Cheng, daughter; Lai "Goretti" M. Co, and grandchildren; Joseph C. Co, Grace M. Co, and Natalie A. Co and many brothers and sisters, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Michael always had a love and talent for gardening. Anyone who came by his house never left without his fruits, a labor of his love. He had many occupations, talents, and pastimes; he was a sailor, a tailor, a taxi driver, a cook, a fisherman, and a courtesy clerk. He converted to Catholicism and married Pauline on September 4, 1971. Michael was a faithful servant to our Lord, never ceasing to offer his taxi services to clergy when he lived in Macau, China and would adamantly refuse to receive any compensation. After immigrating to the United States he was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Orlando, FL and served as usher there for many years through his final days, never ceasing to smile and greet parishioners. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, grand-uncle and friend to all.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at DeGusipe Funeral Home-West Orange Chapel, located at 1400 Matthew Paris Rd, in Ocoee, FL, from 6-8pm with a Vigil Service at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 8:30am, Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Benjamin Lehnertz, celebrating the Mass, 5125 Apopka-Vineland Rd, Orlando FL. Everyone is welcomed to attend and celebrate Michael's life. Graveside Committal Services will be held, following the Mass, at Dr. Phillips Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, prayer intentions, for Michael, may be arranged by contacting Holy Family Catholic Church.
