Julie Dunn Caton passed away peacefully on November 9, 2021, at the age of 84.
Julie is survived by Jack Caton, her loving husband of 62 years. She is also survived by her three children Jeffrey Caton, El Cerrito, CA, Marcia Caton, Altamonte Springs, FL, Sally Tait (John), Highlands Ranch, CO, and four granddaughters, Isabel Caton, Natalie Caton, Molly Tait, and Anna Tait. Her sister Georgina Haight, lives in Lake Bluff, IL.
Born in 1937, Julie spent her young life in Hastings, MI, and then graduated from Smith College in 1959 as an Art History Major. She and Jack spent 22 years in Indianapolis before moving to Sarasota and Winter Park, FL. She was an accomplished potter, an enthusiastic supporter of the arts, and an avid traveler. Julie was an active member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, the Winter Park Library, The Woman's Club of Winter Park, and the Junior League.
