Judy Rae Holloway Miller Hiers "Rae" was called to Heaven on March 12, 2021 after a 10-year battle with a life-altering disease.
Rae was born to Horace & Lucile Holloway in LaGrange, Georgia. She obtained a Master's Degree from UCF in English Literature and studied abroad at Cambridge.
Rae was predeceased by her husband Attorney L. Danner Hiers. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Kinchen (husband Dan), her stepdaughter Nikki Seybold, 7 grandchildren and several cousins who all loved Rae very much.
Rae spent her life smiling, laughing, and bringing joy to others, working until the very end of her life as a legal professional. Anyone who met Rae either at work or out of the office instantly knew she was an amazing person. Rae would often sit and talk to people, providing professional advice about their personal struggles, she took the time to really listen and care. Rae will be dearly missed by her extended family at Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys where she always went above and beyond for everyone.
Rae was a lover of culture, art and music. Rae enjoyed traveling to France, she often would talk about the beautiful sights and sounds of Paris, encouraging all to visit France.
Over Christmas 2020 Rae was laughing and enjoying life. Rae never seemed to let her disease prevent her from living and enjoying the company of her friends. We will all remember Rae's smile and her loving ways. Her spirit will live in all of us forever.
Rae will be missed by all who knew her, and her passing should remind all of us that the line between life and death is very thin. Rae would want nothing more than all her friends and family to laugh, love and embrace life in very big ways while we are granted this time on earth.
Rae, thank you for all your love, may God bless your soul. Love your family and friends. Until we meet again. We love you.
The family of Judy Rae Holloway Miller Hiers invites you to leave a message of condolence on the Tribute Wall created in her loving memory.
