Juan Ramon Mercado, 86, of Gotha, FL went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2020 at Advent Health Hospice in Orlando, FL. He was born on December 01, 1933 in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, to Isabele and Dolores (Lorenzana) Mercado also from Vega Alta, Puerto Rico.

Juan Ramon was retired from King Mills in Augusta, GA. He graduated from Vega Baja Senior High School in 1952 and served in the United States National Guard. He loved his island-home, but he had to leave in 1970 for a new Job in Augusta, GA and he also loved his new home in the best country in the world, the United States.

He worked hard to provide for his family, and he was loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife Doria Esther Mercado (Negron). He is survived by his daughters Angie Stewart, Augusta, GA, Doris Joanne Bravo, Gotha, FL, son-in-law Jerry Bravo, Gotha, FL, grandchildren John Stewart, Augusta, GA, Charles William Stewart Jr, Augusta, GA, Jessica Bravo, Gotha, FL and great grandchildren Cayden and Colton Stewart, Bedford, VA.

The Funeral will be held at The Assembly at Augusta, 4207 Wheeler Road Augusta, GA 30907 on September 23, 2020 at 12 pm.
