Joyce Arlene White, nee Harvey, was born on May 12, 1948 and passed away on July 8, 2017. Joyce was an elementary school teacher for 30+ years and a professional musician, and was the pianist for Pasadena Community Church in St. Petersburg, FL. Through High School, Joyce studied to be a concert pianist.

Joyce was born to an Evangelist/Pastor, Rev. Max H. Harvey, and his wife, Neva P. Harvey in Lancaster, Ohio. Joyce's mother and father are with the Lord. Her younger sister, Janet Brennan, nee Harvey, lives in North Port, Florida. Joyce also has a cousin Rev. Dr. Max Tucker in Lancaster, Ohio. Joyce is a Born Again Christian and is now with the Lord.

Joyce graduated from North East High School in 1966, and from St. Petersburg Junior College two years later. However, once she married, she didn't finish her Bachelor's Degree at USF until her children were grown enough to be independent.

Joyce is survived by her husband Gary, three married children, and nine grandchildren. Joyce's oldest son, Gary is married to Mary Beth and their children are Justin and Samantha. Joyce's second son, Troy, is married to Samantha and their children are Madelyn, Robert, Bethany and Jack. Joyce's daughter, Kristin, is married to Joseph and their children are Ethan, Gabriel and Hezekiah. ALL of Joyce's family members (above) love the Lord and are Born Again Christians.

A Memorial Service will be held at Pasadena Community Church, 227 70th St. S, St. Petersburg, FL (727) 381-2499 on Saturday, July 22nd at 2:00 PM, which will be followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the Pasadena Community Church Music Department, c/o Robert Drick. Music was her "love." Joyce "was music."
