Joyce Kathleen Nachtscheim (Snell) died at her home in Casselberry on September 28th, 2026. She was 62.

Joyce was preceded in death by her mother Bobbye Snell, her father Robert Snell, and her brother, Michael Snell. She is survived by her sister, Paula Stoll.

Joyce was born on July 1st, 1964 in Jacksonville, Arkansas, where her father was stationed as an Air Force pilot. When he retired the family moved to Winter Park, where Joyce lived through high school. She was a graduate of Winter Springs High School, and went on to graduate from Florida State University in Tallahassee.

Her love for travel led her to work in Washington DC, as well as outside the US including Costa Rica and Cuba. Her friendly and helpful disposition showed in her work with the American Red Cross for a number of years. She traveled throughout the United States and made many friends.

Joyce was a lover of cats and music, and a devoted student of the Bible. She will be missed as a friendly neighbor and by the many friends she made in her travels.
