Joy Reyes passed away on August 15, 2018 at her home in Sanford, FL after a 7 year battle with cancer and the development of tumor on the cerebellum. Her memorial will be held at New Covenant House of Worship, Inc, 609 West 9th Street, Sanford, Florida.

Mrs Reyes was born August 30, 1947 in Catskill, NY to Violet and Glenwood Kisselburg, sister to Foster and Dawn. She went to school in Athens, NY and went on to receive an Associates Degree. She moved to Florida in 1987. Married Reynaldo Reyes in their home on January 11, 1998. She worked as a secretary for MCT up until her diagnosis.

Joy Reyes is preceded in death by Violet, Glenwood, and Foster.

Joy Reyes is survived by husband Reynaldo Reyes, daughter Angela and son-in law Gil, son John, and stepdaughter Reinalda. She was Grandmother to Zach, Noah, Sarah, Lauren, Nick, Zoey and Great-Grandmother to 3.

Joy E Reyes was a wonderful, strong, courageous, generous woman with the kindest most loving heart you could ever meet. A smile received from her felt as if the sun had came out. She is keenly missed by many as she touched many lives with her generous and loving spirit.
