Obituary

With heavy hearts we are saddened to announce Josh Taylor, passed away on Sunday February 21, 2021. He contracted COVID-19 in January 2021, and passed from Covid Pneumonia. Born August 6, 1992, he was only twenty-eight years old.

At 14, Josh learned he had Wegener's, a rare disease with an unknown cause. Josh spent much of his childhood in the hospital. Still he persevered through the physical and emotional pain to live his dream.

Josh is survived by his mom and dad, brother Joshua Adam, twin sisters Emily and Katie, niece Amber, extended family and friends all over the world. He was preceded in death by his Grandad Bart, who loved him so much.

A celebration of Josh's life is planned for Summer, 2021 in Florida, God willing. Please contact the family for additional details.

Josh grew up in Colorado, but his love for Disney lead him to Orlando, Florida where he worked at Walt Disney World and loved all things Disney. While working at several of the parks, his passion was taking photos of families with the characters, watching fireworks, and sharing his happy spirit and joy with others. He loved to cook and hosted holidays at his home with friends.

Josh Ewan Taylor (aka JET) brought joy to everyone he met through his bright soul and spirit. His caring personality drew people to him, and he was active in showering his family, friends, and community with love.

His favorite quote was from his favorite movie, Meet the Robinsons, "We keep moving forward, opening up new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious... and curiosity leads us down new paths."
So we remember this: keep moving forward.

Josh was a light in the world, we will miss him so much.
"To the world you may be one person; but to one person you may be the world."
Thank you to everyone who knew him and made him smile. Thank you.

The family of Josh E. Taylor invites you to leave a message of condolence on the Tribute Wall created in his loving memory.
