Our beloved 17 year old son, Joseph (Joe) Denis Skinner entered into heaven on April 30, 2016 after an almost five month battle with Very High Risk Precursor B-cell Acute Lumphoblastic Leukemia (Hyppdiploid). Joe was born on May 13, 1998. Joe leaves behind his parents, Scott Russell Skinner and Judy Radecki Skinner, his sister Molly Ann Skinner, his Grandmother Lucille Delores Radecki and many aunts, uncles and cousins all across the country.
Joe was a senior at Bishop Moore Catholic High School. Joe was an A student and a gifted athlete who signed his letter of intent to play baseball at the University of Central Florida less than a month before his diagnosis. Joe loved his family and was loyal to his friends and teammates. Joe was humble about the gifts God had given him and he had a smile that would light up any ball field. Joe loved sports and was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, the Indiana Pacers and most of all the Chicago Cubs. We know he is in heaven running on the field as Ernie Banks yells "Let's play two".
