Joseph Frank Ross, 88, of Dunbar, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at his home.

Joseph was born on April 7, 1934, in Trotter, PA the son of Frank and Rose (D'Andrea) Ross.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Christopher Ross, grandson, Robert "Bobby" Jordan, siblings, Anthony Ross, Louis Ross, Rocco Ross, Vera Long, Rita Molinaro, and John Ross.

Joe formerly ran Joe Ross and Son car lot until Chris's passing. He worked at Mt. Braddock Coal Mine and would bring Bobby a strawberry sundae every morning after work.

Joseph is survived by his children; Rose and husband Robert "Doc" Jordan of Dunbar which whom Joseph made his home with for the last 7 years, Nikki Stouffer and husband Ray of New Castle, Christine Porter and husband Alan of Connellsville, Caroline Welsh and husband Robert of Connellsville, Joseph Ross Jr. and wife Brenda of Bradenton, FL, Frank "Wink" and Helen Hall of Waltersburg, and Salvatore "Sam" Ross Sr., 25 Grandchildren, 53 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great Great Grandchildren, siblings, Janie Nicholson, Terry Ross and wife Sharon and Frank Ross, the loves of his life, his dogs, Moochie, Louie, Mack, Alley, Booboo, Honey Girl and Nicky, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rose and Doc would like to acknowledge and thank, Wink and Helen for the times they gave us a break when we went on vacation, their children who would sit w their Pap if they wanted to go somewhere, Uncle Terry for all the times he asked or would take Dad hunting even when he couldn't walk to much yet he would still drive him around and he loved that, Amedisys Hospice Scottdale for the wonderful care, his nurses, Trina his aide, he loved when she came and would talk with him, and Pastor Lee Maley for his many years of pastoring and his visits with Joe.

Arrangements are under the direction of the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, Dolfi Chapel, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD, per Joseph's wishes there will be no viewing. Inurnment will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 10:00AM at St. Rita's Cemetery, Connellsville, PA.
