Joseph Bennett Karlberg, 83 passed away July 30, 2019. A 47 year resident of Maitland, Florida, Joe was born and raised in Boston where he married his wife of 63 years in 1956. Joe enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1953. They moved their family to Virginia after his honorable discharge, where they lived until 1972.

Joe was very active in the community serving on various Boards including UCF Athletics, Lake Howell High School and Community Homeowners. He also participated as an assistant coach with soccer, football and cross country for his children's teams. Joe built up his printing company which was located in Longwood.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pat, his son Steven, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many friends, all of whom will miss him greatly.

A celebration of life will be held from 11-1 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Northland Church at 530 Dog Track Rd in Longwood. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made to Marine Corp, Central FL Chapter, 1st Marine Division, 746 McIntyre Ave., Winter Park, FL 32792 and to Hospice of the Comforter, www.hospiceofthecomforter.org .
