Jozik, Joseph J., 84, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Friday, 24 April, 2015. He was born in Wausau, Wisconsin on 11 September 1930 to Joseph J. and Hilda E. Jozik, and was a graduate of Wausau High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served for 28 years honorably in the Air Weather Service before retiring as a Master Sergeant at MacDill AFB in 1977. He continued his weather career in the private sector in Tampa after his discharge, with his favorite office location at the Hall of Fame Inn overlooking the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice fields.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Caridad "Cari" Jozik; his son Jose', daughter-in-law Erin and granddaughter Laurel; his sister Jeanette Peters; his brother Tom (Barbara) Jozik; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Military graveside service will be held on 1 May 2015 at 11:00 at the Florida National Cemetery.
