Jones, Joseph �Melvin�
76, of Pinellas Park (and a lifetime resident of Pinellas County), passed away November 5, 2013. He was the owner of Mel Jones Well Drilling for 30 years. Mel was a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sandy; his son, Keith; and his sister, Willie Heavner; and grandson Kyle. He enjoyed restoring old vehicles and the family will have his latest project at the funeral. Visitation will be Thursday, November 7th from 5-7 PM, with the service at 7 PM at R. Lee Williams & Son Funeral Home, 3530 49th Street North. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Suncoast Hospice.
