Dr. Joseph Ambrose DeKleva (1937-2026)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Joseph Ambrose DeKleva, who departed this life peacefully on April 25, 2026, at the age of 88. Joe was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Anna DeKleva.

Joe was a faithful husband to his beloved wife of 66 years, Marilyn (Lynn) and devoted father to Joey (deceased) and James (Susan) DeKleva. He was a proud grandfather to Jessica DeKleva and Robert (Kelly) Tittenhofer, and two great grandsons Easton and Declan.

Joe graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry and had a thriving practice for over 44 years in Altamonte Springs, FL. He will be remembered for his professionalism, kind words and entertaining stories.

As a gifted painter, Joe and Lynn travelled throughout Florida displaying his paintings in many art shows and shared his paintings with many friends and family. An avid outdoorsman, Joe loved fishing, boating, golf and travelling with his family.

Joe's kindness, generosity and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Church on May 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
