Joseph Jude Daley was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 7, 1974 and moved shortly afterwards to Florida where he was raised by his loving parents. He went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2015. He will be greatly missed by those he left behind, but was greeted at Heavens Gates by his Great Grandparents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends who arrived there before him. We are comforted to know he will not be alone and afraid.
Joseph was the son of Steven Daley, Diana McDonald and Step-Son of Timothy McDonald. He was a big brother to his sisters, Anita Crenshaw, Sueda Daley and brother, Michael Daley. He was a loving grandson to his grandmother, Geraldine Zwiefel. He was an Uncle to 5 Nephews, Taylor, Wayde and Bryce Crenshaw, Owen and Colton Benbrook, and Niece, Sydney Benbrook. He has lots of Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and Friends who will all miss him dearly.
Joseph was a faithful and dedicated Part-Time Employee since 1/24/1996, almost 19 years at Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. He loved his job and everyone he worked with. He was very proud of the work he did and was always ready to go to work 2 hours or so before he was supposed to be there. He thought very highly of his bosses and other employees and knew they felt the same way about him.
Joseph was a very loving and helpful person who was always willing to help out where needed. I could always count on his help.
He loved spending time shooting baskets, playing Video games and watching TV with his brother, nephews and niece. He also loved sitting around the fire pit with family and friends socializing and drinking a few beers. He loved camping and going to the beach and especially loved Pizza and Cheeseburgers.
Joe has been an A.P.A. member since 10/5/1998 and loved shooting pool and hanging out with friends. He played on an 8-Ball team out of the Orlando Moose Lodge on N.O.B.T. and a 9-Ball Team out of George's Hideaway on Edgewater Dr., both in Orlando and enjoyed every minute of it.
